I did a search on the results page and i can only see one entry being accepted for the 2 year program @ Laurier... am I missing something?... I think you guys shouldnt be discouraged just yet.... am hoping that Jo? could tell us a bit about his/ her profile....it could well be that he/ she is an international student;? and acceptances are given earlier than domestic students to help them get necessary documentation early? or that he has a pretty good GPA /experience and was an outright acceptance... I still feel that most acceptances will be out early April as noted on the acknowledgement of application email...same as last year as well if you check the results page... Keep hope alive!!!

Wow....congratulations! am soo happy for you! have been reading through past threads from last year and I know how you have worked for this dream... hard work and persistence really pays... congrats once again and best wishes to all waiting !

We 've been talking about plans.. so will share mine.... Plan A , B , C ,D = MSW lol..... I have no back up plan...will wait patiently until my last rejection and then I will regroup and decide what next....

Congrats! that's wonderful.... I can understand why they've been super fast at getting back to you as i think they don't run a 2 year MSW program for applicants from other disciplines....

Yeah would imagine that the it will be more competitive as the years go by... but 950 applications? thats pretty crazy......

Good to know..... thats a really good back up.... McGill used to have a similar special BSW program for 2 years or so which had the flexibility for you to transfer onto their MSW program depending how well you do after the first year.... I may consider this.... I just hate chasing after references!

I am also planning on applying to UoT and Laurier... maybe windsor if i still have money left...UoT's applciation fee is $ 170 .... the last time i did apply for school it was $60....

thanks! thats quite encouraging to hear.... I have a similar background... had applied earlier somewhere in 08 whiles still in school but i didnt have much volunteering experience and such.... so are you are you enjoying the program so far? how about the City of Kitchener?
