Finally got my first acceptance in Boston University. Visiting weekend is March 1st and 2nd. Looks like its going to be my only acceptance, but I'll be happy there.

I haven't heard anything from BU yet, but according to the results from last year we probably wont hear back until mid-late february

Those Washington acceptances are making me worried since its one of my top picks. But still congrats to those who got in!

Its an interview weekend From February 8-10. We meet individual faculty and current graduate students and also attend a poster session. I think its jsust for the chemical biology program and maybe a few others, I'm not sure if the entire chemistry program is interviewing.

Yeah, nothing from UBoston or Washington has appeared in the results search and people heard back from them by now this time last year. Washington said they wont have final desicions until late march, which is a bit ridiculous compared to other chem programs. Though I have heard the who sequestration/fiscal cliff could be the cause of the delay

Got rejected from Northwestern today, which sucks, but isn't surprising. Hopefully I get better news from the other schools I applied to.

Yeah I got the interview too. Seems like it is going to be really informal. I think they just want us to have a good sense of their program more of a recruitment weekend than an actual interview I think.

I called them back and I got an interview on the weekend of February 8-10. Seems like they have a whole slew of events going on. This is for their chemical biology program.Not acceptance but still excited!

I got a call from University of Michigan. It went to voice mail so I have to call them back, though it wasn't from either of the people I mentioned in my SoP and I can't even find who they are on the department's website so this should be interesting.
