Need recommendations on 1. How much do I need to describe my experience, if its already on my CV? 2. Do I need to cite my references in the SOP? Hey @gradanth I have background in Anthro. from when I applied a couple years ago, my undergrad advisor said be succint. Only describe how your experience contributed to your decision to attend graduate school. You don't need to include everything from the CV - just include what you think is important. As for citing, you shouldn't be citing references. The SOP is all about telling the adcomms what motivated you, what you plan to do, and how the program will help you.
