JDD Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Hello friends, I have officially started the waiting game, as all of my apps are submitted and complete. I was hoping to draw on your collective knowledge of when each program sends their decisions (acceptances/rejections). While I'm focused specifically on MDiv programs, please specify the program with which you're concerned. Here is what I know so far, please feel free to add your respective program so that others can lend their knowledge. YDS - March 15 HDS - Historically March 15 PTS - rolling admission. Apparently the committee meets once a month, not entirely sure when or how long it takes to hear back after they meet. Duke - no idea Fuller - rolling admission, I heard back the day after completing my app Feel free to weigh in!
xypathos Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Brite Divinity - mid. February, they also only notify by snail mail. They've got to be close to the last school still using this method. Iliff - early March is when the bulk of their notifications are sent out, priority candidates are often notified a little earlier. Union - traditionally first week of March Chicago - first week of March Vanderbilt - mid-late February but it's spotty
ChristoWitch87 Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 I recently had a phone call with admissions at Union (had to track down an LOR). They said "four to six weeks from the submission deadline". There seems to be a bit of variation by year for when people receive news from them. Hoping its closer to four than six!
