snoves Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 Hey y'all, Maybe a dumb question, but my anxiety has shot up to level 1,000 in the past ten minutes. I accidently entered my grades in wrong (I put in letter grades instead of numerical. GOD I love CSDCAS) and has my application "undelivered." I already fixed my mistakes and resubmitted it to CSDCAS, but the school I'm applying (SJSU) to had their application due date as Feb. 1st. SJSU only requires that all documents be submitted and delivered to CSDCAS by the due date, not that the application be verified by that date. So should I not stress? Am I good? I just want to confirm I didn't waste $180 on TWO applications (which basically say the SAME SHIT but I digress) due to one little dumb mistake
DDolores Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 I would call SJSU. If the school has your transcripts through CSDCAS and their other portal (you had to submit official copies to two different places), then you should be fine, I would think. Call them and explain.

I don't thin you wasted the money because I highly doubt this will cause them to throw away your application. Quick question, what did you mean about letter grades? I entered in all of my grades as letter grades on CSDCAS because that is what is on my transcript. They verified my application with those grades too. Best of luck and try not to worry too much! This situation can be remediated!

Thanks guys. I'll call them ASAP. Basically my official transcripts used numeric grades (4.0, 3.7, etc.) instead of letter grades (A, A-, etc.) but I put my grades in using the letter system. It was a dumb mistake on my part

I don't understand how they can charge $125 for the service and demand so much from you. Cal State Apply (which uses the same exact system) is much more forgiving and half the price. I actually forgot to put in a class and when I emailed the schools they basically told me not to sweat it, they just go by the transcripts. Granted that means that all the time you spent putting in your classwork is redundant , but at least they were forgiving!

I especially hate when schools use CSDCAS AND have their own application (for two different fees of course ), it's a complete waste. Cal State Apply sounds much better! By the way, ASU seems like a great program and Phoenix is such a great city, so congrats on getting in there!

Their speech program is in Tempe but I've heard good things about that city too lol. I'm just happy to be in somewhere!
