katya14 Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 I want to apply for a scholarship, but I honestly do not understand the question they want me to answer, namely "Why do you need this scholarship?". Should I explain to them why I financially need it, or why I need to attend that degree in general? Talk about my past experience and achievements or plans for the future? I have been thinking and getting nowhere. How would you answer it?
Sundaythecat Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 What is the scholarship? A bit more information about it may help answer the question
Verbal Ventures Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 (edited) Most likely they are asking why you need the financial scholarship. How would the money benefit you? You could write the essay with that in mind and then build in your story of how your degree will help you to achieve what you want in the future. Hopefully this helps a bit. Best of luck!
