Ccceeewww97 Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Is it ok to use the acronym SLP in my personal statement? Some of my schools have a 1 page limit and typing out speech-language pathologist takes up a lot of space lol
bibliophile222 Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 In a research paper you would want to type out the whole thing first, then put the acronym in parentheses and use the acronym in the rest of the paper, like so: "I have wanted to be a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) since..." They'll like it if you follow the APA style! Ccceeewww97, Bmay80, MarineBluePsy and 1 other 3 1
