Some grad schools just say they want two-pages, but don't specify if they want single or double spaced. I'm assuming when they say 2 pages they mean double spaced, but my current draft of my SOP is three pages double spaced so that could easily become 1.5 pages single spaced without cutting anything out. If anyone has any insight, I would greatly appreciate it!

My understanding is that as a general rule the statement of purpose is supposed to be one page single-spaced or two pages double-spaced. That said, if you are able to call the school directly before you submit your application, I would definitely double check!
