Pollitopinpin Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 I know some schools do not have a bilingual extension program or an acc specialy certificate. BUT u can obtain these after you graduate through continuing education programs. Would it be wise to say i want to do these things even tho the program doesnt have it?
Gkj _ Speech Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 I'd say go ahead and add them. Even if programs don't have a specific track, you can list AAC and bilingual therapy as research interests. Who knows, maybe one of the professors is doing related research? IF you haven't already, try looking on the schools faculty page (or even google) for their research / publication information. If you know a second (or third!) language, definitely highlight that in your SOP. Schools LOOOVE that. Toya 1
