Hey everybody-

I just got into USC's on campus MSW program yesterday. I applied to CSULB and UCLA as well but haven't heard back yet. I just wanted to see if anyone else had gotten in to USC yet either and I'm also kinda sorta looking for a roommate/new place in LA starting this summer. The fieldwork placement form asks you where you plan to live, and seeing as I'm coming from San Diego, I realized I have a lot of options. Does anyone know anything about where might be best in the city to live in order to be close enough to campus but not have to live downtown?

Also, for those of you who also got in/are getting in, how much financial aid did you get? How much do you think I should expect?

Thanks for reading and best of luck with all your admissions!!

I applied, but haven’t heard back yet. I’m funded by the VA, so I don’t have any info on financial aid.

Hello! I got into their on campus program as well and decided to accept the admissions offer even though the financial aid offer hasn't come through since they're my top top top choice. I'm thinking of living in the Long Beach or Anaheim/Fullerton area since they're equidistant from the campus and my family (family is in Inland Empire). What did you put for the work study question since your financial offer hadn't come in?

Good luck everyone! :D

Hi everyone, i submitted my appication on may 11, i know it is a bit late, but they were still accepting applications. I have 2yrs experience in social work and 3.355 GPA in undergrad. Has anyone else applied around this date? I am so nervous. How long did it take everyone to hear back?
