TC Columbia University MA, or Stanford STEP program?

I am extremely grateful to be accepted into both these schools, however, I now need to make a decision! I need to choose between the MA in Teaching of English at TC Columbia, or the STEP program with a focus in Teaching of English at the Stanford GSE. Both programs are one year in length - with Stanford beginning this Summer, and TC beginning this Fall. 

I am a qualified teacher from Australia. The STEP program will provide me with a teaching credential in California, whereas the MA from TC is non cert. At this stage, I am undecided about what I will do after I complete the one year program (whether to return to Australia or go elsewhere). 

Stanford is looking like it will be around 20k cheaper based on tuition - please correct me if I'm wrong (I am yet to hear back from TC regarding financial aid).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
