atm14834 Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 Happy Monday, I'm not sure if this is something members do here, but I thought I would ask. I am applying to biomedical science programs this fall for fall 2020. I am trying to get everything together over the summer. I started a rough draft of my personal statement, and I was wondering if anyone would be interested/willing to read over it and give me some feedback. Feel free to message me if you are interested. Thanks in advance!
bolicks Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 I got very helpful feedback on my personal statements when I sent it to my parents, friends, girlfriend, mentors in science and PI. They will know you better than a stranger on GradCafe and might know enough about graduate admissions (eg. your PI, Grad student/Post-doc) to help you tailor your statement to a graduate admissions panel and the school you are applying to.
BabyScientist Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 I'm happy to give it a read. I have a pretty good idea of what admissions committees want to hear
