Okay I have been googling “msw csulb 2020” everyday for the last two weeks. I turned in my application December 12 and I know it’s so recent but I literally check my emails everyday. Has anyone heard back? I’m a child development from CSULB, gpa is 3.0, cumulative is 3.4. I have 1 year in the field with social services as well as my job as a home visitor. I also applied for Fullerton :)

Hi all! I applied Jan 3rd and I got a confirmation email as well. It basically stated they received my application and they will be reviewing it. I’ve checked the self-service website and it’s sent emails stating that I have submitted all the required documents and it is under departmental review. Has anyone heard back from them yet about their decision?

Hey guys! I applied for Advanced Standing on the last day of the deadline, Jan 15. I wish I could have applied much sooner but I had to complete part of my practicum first so I could get those recommendations! Anyway, it's a stressful wait and it has barely been a week. I'll keep everyone posted on my timeline. Very nervous but hopeful. Good luck to everyone!

I applied to CSU San Marcos, and I’m planning on submitting my apps for CSU Dominguez Hills, U of Washington, and U of Michigan in the next week or so. I’m trying really hard not to check the self service thing every single day lol but waiting is soo stressful bc CSULB is my first choice. Although from checking the forum from last year people started hearing back around Jan 28th so I hope it’s the same for us. Good luck to everyone, fingers crossed!

CONGRATULATIONS! Do you mind sharing your stats and to which program you were granted admission to?

First of all congratulations!!! If you would be so kind and let us know you gpa or anything that can help us as we wait to hear back. Im sure we would all appreciate it.

Thank you so much! I quoted my stats and experiences listed on another reply. I hope it is helpful. Also I am noticing that portals tend to update on Fridays. That seems to be the day people hear back from out of the week. Best of luck to you :)

Has anyone applied to CSULA and have you heard back yet?? I am kinda nervous. I only applied to 2 schools and hoping to hear back.

I applied to CSULA also but I haven't heard back. They just received  my transcripts I believe so they told me to wait to hear back.

Received my acceptance from CSULB today 02/03/20.

Just waiting for CSUF now, but I have to accept CSULB's within 10 days.

Congrats. I submitted my supplements application to the school of social work on 1-14-2020. They have emailed me to let me know that they received my application. The admissions office also emailed me to say that they sent my application to the school of social work for review. It’s just a waiting game now.

I applied on December 10 and just saw in the self service center that I was accepted today! Those who have been accepted, how long was it until you got the official email?? I’m a little hesitant to tell friends and family until I get it and it feels “official”, you know?
