That is really promising, thank you. But it's still really hard not hearing back from them.

No problem! Stay strong ?

hi i was sent an email thursday to schedule an interview and did the interview on sunday. I'm not sure if they do multiple rounds of interviews but I do know they admit students without interviews. Hope that helps

Hey everyone, they typically perform interviews with candidates that they have uncertainty regarding their English skills...I'm not international but nearly all my friends who applied to MDE or like programs and were international had an interview of some sort IF there were concerns about language skills. With that said, some friends that were from Asia but had substantial schooling in English speaking countries or had recommendations that could speak to their speaking skills did not.

Again just what I have seen.

@Parast I think that @Linkboi made a good point, I applied as an international student so it def could be a reason why I was interviewed. I wouldn't worry too much! I'm sure you have a good shot!

Best of luck! I think we hear back in the next 2-3 weeks?

Same - I interviewed and my second language is English yet I was exempt from submitting TOEFL. And the interview itself was more general so not sure if it's be a deciding factor. So don't lose hope yet!

Actually I interviewed as a native english speaker with GRE scores higher than the median on the site so I doubt it was for only english-testing purposes. Not only that, my interview email from the GSD stated that invitation was based on exceptional credentials, the interview is to narrow down the applicant list, and furthermore during my interview it was explicitly stated that I made the “short-list” of applicants thus they are using the interviews to learn more about those select individuals and it is indeed a deciding factor.

Aw - my email read the same so I thought it was just a general invitation quote.

I can firmly say individuals that did not interview were accepted last year so take it for what it is.
