Molecular Biology Research Section of SOP Help

Hi all, I'm applying for a PhD in the biomedical sciences at Oxford. I've got some SOP guidelines from them which is really helpful. I'm just having some difficulty sticking to the word limit and realise that my research descriptions are too long. I would appreciate another person's perspective on what's is deemed as necessary and whats not.
