I had applied for CMU MISM 12 months course, whereas I intended to apply for the 16 months course. I understand that this is a grave mistake from my end. The reason I was opting for the 16 months is that my undergrad is not related to programming so the 16 months course would be better for me.
Do you think it would be sensible to mail the admissions committee and ask them to consider me for the 16 months course?
