StormySkye Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 We just got hit by a huge snow and ice storm overnight and it is supposed to continue all day. I am supposed to fly out to interview at my top choice tomorrow morning, and as of right now the airport, (which is tiny) is shutdown. What do I do if I can't fly out? It is a 13 hour drive in good weather, I don't think I could make it there in time. Any advice?
Yas-man Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 (edited) Around when you have to leave the house (accounting for extra travel due to weather), look at the flight status. If there's no flight, just email (or call/text) the coordinator or whatever contact at the program and let them know what's going on. I'm sure they'll understand and work something out with you (Skype interviews, fly in a bit later, etc.) Edited February 5, 2020 by Yas-man PsyZei 1
