For any other UMich MSI applicants, based on trends from previous years, the decisions should come today (March 2nd). So excited to hear back. Anyone else waiting for it?

same here! I applied 2 hours before the deadline lol. I still haven't received anything from them. Hopefully they're sent out today :))

Nothing here either. I submitted everything two days before the deadline.

I just received an email that they have received all my application materials. I emailed back asking when we will hear back from them about an admissions decision.

Same haha I emailed them in the morning about dates and later got email that they have my docs. I don’t care - I have 4 of these emails already ?

I got an email today that they will release majority decisions by end of March. I’m not sure if they will release anything in between though :(

To maybe console some of you,  umich is on spring break right now.  This may or may not effect sending out admissions decisions. Hope to hear back next week.

I feel spring break shouldn’t  affect applicants :( well I hope next week or by the end of the month we will hear back

My application was complete around Feb 3. And I’m coming from Communication Design background and applied to HCI

May application was complete on January 13th. I'm a graphic designer with a background in information design and some UX. Applied to get more specialization in UX.

I turned mine in on January 15th. I have a B.S. in mathematics, and have a background in statistics and machine learning. I applied to the data analytics track. Also applied for the data science masters through the statistics department at umich, hopefully one will work out!

I applied on January 15th to the HCI track. My undergrad is communications and entrepreneurship. Background in marketing and Ironically university admissions lol.

Also I received a reply today from admissions saying that they will release majority decisions by the end of March. They have a large volume of applicants and its taking longer than anticipated to review them all.  
 

Also they said they will release scholarship info separately but within the same timeframe.

Yeah I got the same email as well! It's gonna be a long wait ?

Well based on the Google analytics, they haven't looked at my web portfolio yet either.  Do they look at one's portfolio though?

People that applied before the priority deadline will probably get the decisions like a week or so advanced of the others.  At least, that's what seems most likely. I'm hoping when they say "by the end of march" they dont mean the end of March, or send out decisions in waves at least. Maybe I'm too hopeful?

Best of luck to everyone, I submitted my application Jan. 13th.  My application complete date according to the checklist on applyweb is 03-06-2020. I work as a registered nurse. Hope to see you all in the Fall! I emailed TJ Shannon a couple months ago, he's no longer in the position there, however he stated that they typically start sending out decision the start of March and the majority of decisions are out by the end of March as most people here have already stated. Again, best of luck to everyone! (I applied to the informatics program)
