Daisy7200 Posted July 7, 2020 Posted July 7, 2020 So I messed up.... It is not something I am proud of, but I am hoping to overcome this. I was a little overwhelmed this summer with covid, working, and taking too many classes, and I ended up using my notes on an online exam and am now charged with cheating for one class. I am due to start grad school in the fall, and this is one of my last prereqs that I needed to finish... Does anyone have advice on how to tell my grad school?? ( the class I was cheating is a different school than my grad program) Do you think they will still let me do the grad program? I am hoping that they will just let me complete the prereq in the fall while starting the program.. but I have no idea if they will allow that Has anyone become an SLP with an academic violation on their transcript?? Any advice is appreciated.... I hope I didnt throw away all of my hardwork for the last few years on one test...
Avschilling Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 I would reach out to the new program and inform them that there is one prereq that is not complete and go from there. Most likely you'll be online in the fall or limited access so you theoretically could have more time to do "other" classes.
