ClinPsych21 Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 (edited) Just happy to be done and anxious about hearing back already How are things for you? Edited December 15, 2020 by PsychApplicant20
PychPhD9 Posted December 16, 2020 Author Posted December 16, 2020 Ugh! same. It is stressful. Are you coming right out of undergraduate or did you take a few years off? What's your research experience?
ClinPsych21 Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 Umm..so my academic history is a little unorthodox. I don't have background in psychology. I do have research experience but it is not necessarily relevant to what I want to do now. I feel like I am in the grey zone. How about you?
mhm2168 Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 How is everyone feeling? I see that invites went out for the Counseling Psych PhD program at TC but no word yet on Clinical.
PychPhD9 Posted January 18, 2021 Author Posted January 18, 2021 I am feeling really anxious. What about you guys?

HopefullyPanicked Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 When I went back and looked through posts from last year they didn't send out interview invites until around February, if that helps to comfort anyone.

Around what days? Because seeing the results page from last years I saw responses from late January.

PychPhD9 Posted January 21, 2021 Author Posted January 21, 2021 Why are people trolling about acceptance to TC in the results section? I don't get it, omg!
PychPhD9 Posted January 21, 2021 Author Posted January 21, 2021 Or invitations/acceptance have really gone out?
mhm2168 Posted January 22, 2021 Posted January 22, 2021 I posted on the results page that I actually reached out to Admissions via email last Friday asking if invitations had gone out and they just replied this recent Tuesday with, "Thank you for your email! Per the Clinical Psychology PhD FAQ page, students will be notified about interviews in February. " So, it's possible that someone may have heard earlier that they've been invited to interview (as this has happened towards the end of January) but I am confident that nobody would be offered a spot or an acceptance letter without an interview. Safe to assume somebody's just trying to mess with everyone. Hang in there everyone. Deep breaths. CoffeeErryday, sirmixalot, PychPhD9 and 1 other 4
PositiveRegards Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 Did anyone apply to work with BF? I’m wondering if he is still on sabbatical and how that will impact application reviews.
socpsyc Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 He was confirmed as reviewing applicants per the application form itself. PositiveRegards 1
PychPhD9 Posted January 25, 2021 Author Posted January 25, 2021 Do you guys know if the interview invitations are sent by the POI or the department?
PychPhD9 Posted January 30, 2021 Author Posted January 30, 2021 Someone posted a rejection on the results page. Does anyone know anything?
