  1. I posted on the results page that I actually reached out to Admissions via email last Friday asking if invitations had gone out and they just replied this recent Tuesday with, "Thank you for your email! Per the Clinical Psychology PhD FAQ page, students will be notified about interviews in February. " So, it's possible that someone may have heard earlier that they've been invited to interview (as this has happened towards the end of January) but I am confident that nobody would be offered a spot or an acceptance letter without an interview. Safe to assume somebody's just trying to mess with everyone. Hang in there everyone. Deep breaths.
  2. How is everyone feeling? I see that invites went out for the Counseling Psych PhD program at TC but no word yet on Clinical.
  3. For anyone waiting on L.S. i just got my formal rejection letter so somebody has accepted with her.
  4. If anyone here is waiting on B.V he has extended an offer to someone and they have accepted (a friend of mine interviewed with him and he called her today to tell her that he went with someone else). Someone else just posted in the results section that they believe all initial offers have been extended. Has anyone here heard anything else?
  5. I echo both impressions above! As someone who interviewed last year, the question was exactly the same except that it was in person last year. I feel like the task of collaborating with others and producing something that made sense was easier last year but, ultimately, i think they are just looking to see how you collaborate with others and handle yourself under pressure. I'm not sure about either of you but, I couldn't see more than 4 icons at a time so it was hard to know who was there with me. To deal with this, i tried to take on the role of notetaker in my group so that i could capture everyone's contributions. If either of you have questions about the program or faculty, I completed my EdM and MA there and would be happy to share my experiences. I can say with confidence that the program is truly committed to social justice and amplifying the voices of segments in society that are not being listened to. I'm sending positive thoughts and confidence to each of you in getting through the final stretch. Last year it took them exactly 2 weeks to let us know their decision.
  6. Thank you so much for posting this. It's very frustrating to call various schools' admissions departments and have them tell you the generic: all applicants are "still under review". If they have scheduled an interview day, they are interviewing everyone they are considering and will select from that pool only. *sigh* glad I know at least. For anyone wondering about PhD at McGill, admissions office will tell you "still under review" but I heard directly from a professor that they have already made offers for 2019.
  7. I contacted them today over email asking about this and have yet to hear back. I did see one post in the results section that someone had received an email invitation to interview and that their interview was scheduled for yesterday but got rescheduled . Last year I believe they had a formal interview day for everyone but this may have changed...
  8. Does anyone know if invites have all been sent out for Fordham's Counseling Phd program? I only saw one person post on the results page that they received an invite directly from their POI. I spoke to admissions a week ago and they said that faculty had only just begin to review and would take another 2-3 weeks to extend invitations. Any information/confirmation would be appreciated.
  9. I saw today on the results page that someone has been offered an interview at Fordham. Based on last year, they all seemed to go out within 24 hours.
  10. Columbia Counseling PhD has gone out. My understanding is everyone is interviewing via video conference Zoom.
  11. This is for the PHD program in Counseling psychology.
  12. For anyone waiting on Fordham's Counseling Psychology PhD program: I called today and was told it could take another 2-3 weeks before interviews are offered. Also, for anyone applying to McGill in Montreal: I was told there wouldn't be any in-person interviews. You will be notified if you are on the short list and then will receive a call. They said not until end of Feb/early March.

  14. For those asking about TC, Columbia, my POI is L.S. I'm fairly certain it was a mass email that went out as i was BCC'd. Interviewed last year and graduated from their dual MA/EdM program. Hoping this is the year!
