Northeastern asking for 750 dollars deposit. A bit too much?

For F21 Masters, Khoury NEU is asking a deposit of 750 dollars to admits. The website said 100 dollars, admit letter asks for 750. Isn't 750 a bit too much? I don't have decisions from other universities yet. What should I do? Anybody thinking of paying them this amount?

Did you end up putting down the deposit? I'm in a similar position, and $750 does seem like way too much.
