I got waitlisted as well. There is no indication of what that means in terms of numbers Waitlisted but I’m just going with “not rejected yet” lol. Good luck to waitlisted people and congrats to the accepted.

For anyone waiting on Ottawa MPH, I emailed last week and they replied over the weekend stating that:

The Admission Committee usually has decisions by mid-May. However, this is subject to change.

I got the same email. It's a little anxiety-inducing, but it's not a full-on rejection, so that's something!

Woah, early June? That's crazy. 

I just got my rejection letter from Western MPH. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise because of the ridiculous amount of tuition just for one year lol? I'm sure the waitlist will clear up, but waiting that long may be risky if you applied elsewhere. 

Was Western your top choice?

I know June is super late! I probably won't wait on them anymore since I've accepted my offer from Queen's for now but I was hoping to get in to Western. I've applied to other programs in Ontario as well and I'm waiting to hear back from those.

Their tuition is the highest and it's not OSAP approved either ?

I was shocked when I realized it wasn't OSAP approved. Other than the cost, I spoke to a few recent grads and they said although the program and the instructors are great, it felt extremely rushed. I feel like it's tailored for people who have worked for awhile, and are coming back to university to advance their careers relatively quickly (rather than students straight from undergrad). 

Regardless, I hope you have an awesome time at Queen's

Thank you!! Yeah, I talked to someone who's doing her MPH at Western and she said that too! She doesn't really like the layout of the program and mostly chose it because it's only a year long.

I got a rejection from Western too. I received an unofficial acceptance letter from Guelph last week. Still waiting on Mac as well.

Hey I just got a rejection email from Western as well. I also applied to Guelph, nothing from them yet, my status is still under "all documents received".
