workerbee
I have a BA in psychology with a 3.7 GPA. I worked my entire time during college but also had a year of volunteering in a psychology lab. I now coordinate a huge research study for a university. I don't have any volunteer experience besides the lab in college. I do have some great recommendations related to the clinical work I've done for the study I work at now. Do I have chances at getting in to schools without a lot of volunteer experience? I'm trying to get some but tons of places are not taking volunteers because of the pandemic and I work really weird hours with this study so it's hard to find a place that would work for me. pronat
No, I think you'll be just fine. Your year of volunteer experience with the lap and the research is enough.

You might want to take this question to the Social Work program forum, they may be better able to answer questions about admittance requirements to MSW programs there
