Hello!

I applied to two programs: the MS at SJSU and SFSU. I got accepted to both and now I’m having an impossible time choosing.

Any information/opinions between the two?

Was told by a professor at my university that Old Dominion will most likely not be taking a student this year

I applied to mostly California State Universities for their MA programs and University of Akron for their PhD and Claremont Graduate University's MA program. I got rejected from San Diego State, which was super competitive, 300 applicants for 5-7 spots. I just got rejected from Akron. As of now, I got into San Francisco State and Claremont Graduate.

I'm a former upper elementary teacher who is going through a career change, so I don't have any research or lab experience but I have a lot of professional experience and presenting at conferences. 

I hope everyone gets into at least one of their schools of choice. It's been a tough year applying but hopefully it'll all pay off. Good luck, everyone!

How ironic, you're also in California! I heard SJSU is more research focused, while SFSU provides more flexibility. I applied to ALL CSUs, but I got rejected from SDSU and accepted at SFSU so far. I'm probably going to go with SFSU. Congrats!
