mellirae Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 (edited) Basically, I am currently in a MA program for Art History. Long story short, the program is loaded with issues and it has killed my passion for the field and a future career. Law school has always been on my radar as something I was interested in, and now being in a failed program, I feel more inclined to try and apply. My undergrad GPA was solid, but due to the issues in my MA program and long covid health issues, my grades are averaging in the Bs more. My two main questions are 1. Will law schools take someone who didn't spend undergrad preparing to apply to law school? 2. Do the graduate transcripts matter as much as undergraduate? Edited January 4, 2022 by mellirae
Boolakanaka Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Yes they will consider someone who explores other topics. And typically law schools place much more deference to undergraduate grades as to graduate ones.
