RAND summer associate program

Hey all – anyone else here applied to the RAND summer associate program? Waiting to see if I got an interview and wanted to check if it's just a lost cause at this point!

Do you have an update? Or know if anyone received an interview? When you log in, what does your application say? 

The FAQ states this exact wording below. I checked my application, and it states in green, "under consideration." Does anyone think this is a good thing or wishful thinking? 

"Will I find out about the project and mentor I'm matched with before I need to make a decision?

Yes! Students whose applications are under consideration will be contacted for a phone or video interview. During the interview(s) you will meet your potential mentor(s), learn about the project(s) you've been matched with, and have the opportunity to ask questions."

Hey @CeXra! I'm in the same boat. My status says under consideration but I haven't received a call or email last year interviews were conducted in February....

The website says that interviews are also conducted throughout February and March. So maybe there is hope? I don't feel pretty good about it but trying to remain optimistic.

@CeXra The part has me losing hope is that the site says notifications about recommendation requests would come in January or early February ☹️ I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that they are just super behind with processing apps this year.
