@CeXra The part has me losing hope is that the site says notifications about recommendation requests would come in January or early February ☹️ I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that they are just super behind with processing apps this year. Good luck!

Hey @CeXra! I'm in the same boat. My status says under consideration but I haven't received a call or email last year interviews were conducted in February....

Looks like decisions are out for Maryland. Did you get good news?

I talked to someone at Maryland today and they said that more notifications will be sent out in 7-10 days. There is still hope!

I would just send a follow up email to the sponsoring professor or call the director. In my experience, directors are always happy to hear from applicants. Good luck!

Thanks! I got traditional PhD funding (GA, tuition waiver, health insurance, ect.).

I know because I was accepted without an interview and I talked to the program director last week and she told me about the number of applicants. IDK about the timeline of acceptance notifications.

No interview, just a decision. About 50 applicants only 5-6 accepted.

Penn said decisions should be out in early March
