I already have an MA but not in east asian studies... I might take their MA offer if thats why I am rejected by most schools...

Hopefully I'm wrong but my POI had told me a couple weeks ago acceptances would be released on Feb 17, and from personal experience it turned out to be true. AppleBird0210 1

I also applied, and had no interviews. My poi told me that if I did not get an interview, then unfortunately, I am not on their list. I take that as a (silent) rejection. Alas, I don't have any offer now and must consider taking either a second MA (mostly without funding at this point) or a gap year. I'm not sure if it is necessary for an applicant to hold a degree in US/UK/Canada/other English-speaking countries, as I am somewhat reluctant to take another MA considering tuition fees. What might be you guys' suggestion on this? Thanks!

Just writing to update that I just got my rejection from Princeton University (EAS). And yesterday, another rejection from UC Davis (Comp Lit). Maybe another year will be my Princeton year. Or maybe never. In the meantime waiting on one more school, how nice it would be if they also sent me their decision today. wanlichangcheng 1
