PhD in Statistics in US for who researchs in quantitative genetics

Hello! First time here.

 

I have a BSc in Statistics (theoretical) from Brazil and right now I started my MSc in Statistics and Analytics in the University of Arkansas (a more applied course).

I know that's soon yet, but I'm wondering which place would be good to try a PhD later.

Right now I'm doing GA in a quantitative genetics laboratory within the Agricultural Statistics department.

In my undergrad I did research in agricultural statistics and I published in a good journal (Field Crops Research).

I would like to do a PhD in Statistics in the future but researching in quantitative genetics. I'm pretty new to the US, so would anyone recommend me good university?

In the future I plan to try being a professor.
