chacha Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Hi guys, I just took the GRE a few days back and got Q: 800 V: 730 AWA: awaiting Before this I already attempted the test twice and was wondering if the designated institutions actually see the "cancellation". And if they do, does this have any effect on my application? Btw, I am planning to apply for bio-sciences degrees (MIT, Stanford, Johns Hopkins). How would I rank with these kind of scores? Thanks, chacha
Strangefox Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Before this I already attempted the test twice and was wondering if the designated institutions actually see the "cancellation". Read carefully information about scores cancellation on the GRE official website. I believe I saw there that universities do not get to know anything about your cancelled scores.

I know that they do not get to know anything about the score I would have gotten if I had not canceled. I am just wondering if on my report card it says e.g. Septermer 30th ... Canceled thanks

In fact, they DO NOT exist, because they are cancelled I am sure your report card does not say anything like that.
DrFaustus666 Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Test takers whose scores are canceled will forfeit their test fees and must pay to retake the entire test. No record of the score cancellations or the reason for cancellation will appear on future score reports. http://www.ets.org/gre/revised_general/scores/how/ adaptations 1
