java_beans Posted March 15, 2023 Share Posted March 15, 2023 Has anyone gone through the Foreign Influence Screening for a research position at a public Florida institution, as required since 2021 for international researchers by Florida HB 7017? I can't find much information about its implementation, but it seems that any relevant job offer has to be contingent on the screening results. My visa and job offer seem to be in limbo as a consequence of the bill and my contacts at the institution don't seem to have the answers to my questions.
