tenner
Hi everyone, I'm from ny and interested in international affairs/intl development. My first choice is Columbia SIPA's MIA program but my quant scores were HORRIBLE so i'm crossing my fingers. i don't have a strong economics/math background so it seems like i'm screwed but i'm going ahead and applying anyway. What about you guys? what's your first choice and how about back up options? thanks!
apsuwa
My first choice will definitely be Georgetown MSFS with a concentration on ID and regional focus on Eurasia/Russia. My second and third choices are SAIS and SIPA, although I am not a big fan of SAIS faculty. The second tier consists of GWU-Elliott, Upitt-GSPIA, and Umich-Ford. Exsistence of a solid certificate program or regional concentration on Russian/Eurasian studies is a decisive factor for me, so I had to skip some big names such as Fletcher. Hope I can get in one of them.
