paulr1234 Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Anyone know anything about the interview test for U.C.B's M.A. in Journalism? Would love to hear here or share via paulr1234@yahoo.com Have you taken it, what was it like etc. ? Any tips would be welcome. Have no idea what to expect.
rachaelm Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 You may have already taken the test at this point, but in case you haven't... You have 45 minutes to answer maybe six free response questions. It's not a test on current events or journalism conventions, but it instead asks about the type of stories you like to do best, what-if ethics, stuff like that. It seemed to me like a no-right-answer test - they are more interested in how you write on the spot and your thoughts on the field.
Spottedgiraffe Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 I was wondering if you could elaborate on the type of questions included on the writing test? I'm supposed to be interview this week so any tips would be really helpful. Thanks!
JOliveira Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Anyone take the writing test yet? I have mine this week and am interested in what types of questions are asked... cseth 1
mpierce13 Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I took the test this week - it was six questions and you only get half an hour so you need to work quite quickly. It was vague though: what's been your toughest challenge, what skills do you want to learn, that sort of thing. cseth 1
dptv Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Has anyone taken the written and verbal this year yet? Anything to expect?
GradSchoolTruther Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 If writing worries you, then this program probably isn't for you.
