Bukharan Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 (edited) This is an excellent if somewhat disheartening thread. Applied: 9 programmes Overall: $1000 Application fees: $630 (would be $780 but got special deals on early applications) GRE: $285 (exam + 4 additional schools) Postage fees: $45 Transcripts: $40 I also had to book flights to take my GRE exam. If I get in anywhere with full funding, it will be worth it! Edited February 5, 2011 by Bukharan Bukharan and Woolf Reader 1 1
Brandi88 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 WOW! I thought I spent a lot. I applied to 7 schools: App fees - 335 $ Transcripts - 105 $ GRE - 160 $ Sending Gre -60 $ Mailing Stuff/Fees - ~20 Online portfolio - 19 Total $699. Oh god. Oh, and if I have to go to interviews that's gas +hotel +food. Still haven't heard anything though, gahh!
frenzydude Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Overseas Applicant. About 2000$ in total for 11 schools. Equal to one month's graduate stipend
emmm Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 (edited) 6 programs: $450 GRE: $235 (I think) transcripts: ~$100 interview clothes: ~$400 (but I get to keep using them!) ~$1000 -- I can't really count all the money I spent on the clothing and I probably missed some other smaller items (books on applying, etc) Plus tuition for classes I took that made me a better applicant -- but I would have taken them anyway Edited April 1, 2011 by emmm
