matilda Posted April 21, 2011 Share Posted April 21, 2011 (edited) Morning everyone, I have been away for sometime. How is it going for the others that haven't gotten news yet? I hope things turn out good. However, i wanted to find out if anyone has any idea on the accommodation situation, am thinking of getting on campus housing but in a shared apartment as I think if I get a good roommate it will be easier for me to acclimatize to NY.THe question is how expensive is shared apartment compared to single in whitter hall (for those who have been at teachers college, columbia university). I do not know my fulbright specs yet. some idea please Maybe you should try at the forum in the part city guide ( )or meet and greet, for newbies, there are some interesting stuff about housing. I think they will do it in due time, as always... And , I also think that the schedule will not be so different from last year's . This year taught me a lot about patience... That one I unfortunately had to turn down due to my own scheduling conflicts. I did and haven't heard anything from them since. Anyway, is there anyone else going to the gateway in Vanderbilt? I even didn't get the orientation paper yet I talked to my advisor couple of days ago, and he said he will contact me by the end of the week...it is Tuesday...Friday was last week...
