Clinical Psychology MA/PhD Fall 2026 - Canada

Hi I found that having a forum to post to for the upcoming cycle was super helpful last time! Post where you are applying to and if you've heard back : Interview, Acceptance/Rejection

Second time applying! I'm only applying to one university this round. I'm currently completing an MA in experimental psychology and the only reason I'm applying is because there is a prof I really want to work with who's taking grad students this cycle. I also fit a lot of the criteria for UOttawa (BIPOC and Bilingual) so I figured it be worth a shot. I've met with the prof informally (prelim) last month and he said they usually get a list of candidates at the end of January for interview early in February.

Wishing everyone Luck! and not to be discouraged because rejections part of the process! Just have to be tenacious and keep applying!

Second application cycle! Nothing back on interviews yet, but last year I heard back about a prelim 2nd week of Dec and official in early Jan

Awesome! My experience last year depended on the university. if you get an interview, most are fairly early like in Jan or Feb if they are considering you as a viable applicant. Whereas a few happened a little later in March.
