They want me to "outline [my] qualifications and goals for an assistantship." Pardon my ignorance, but this sounds very similar for the SOP I wrote for admission to the program. the once and future grad Posted February 4, 2011 Share Posted February 4, 2011 Is it a teaching assistantship? Maybe they want you to focus more on your teaching style/pedagogy? The website says graduate assistants perform editorial or administrative duties in support of the English Department and its publications and programs, or assist in faculty research.
