Today I received a notification of being wait-listed for admission and funding. In general, what is the chance of wait listed candidate being eventually accepted? You can send a reply to a grad secretaty, reiterating your interest in the program and asking to explain the structure of their wait-list. For example, are people on this list numbered like 1,2,3 etc. and if they are what is your position. May be other commenters will give you more advice on that!
