laurissimo Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Hi everyone! Wondering if there is anyone else in the forums looking to apply to bioarchaeology programs. If so, which schools/programs are you applying to?
mutualist007 Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 What schools are you considering? There are a lot of good places really, but off the top of my head Pittsburgh has several good biological anth profs, and I would second any Penn school, then throw in Ohio State and Arizona.
TooMuchCaffeine Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Haven't looked into Pittsburgh, but the other schools are on my list. Have you looked into Canada or England? They have stronger bioarch programs there.
laurissimo Posted January 25, 2012 Author Posted January 25, 2012 Actually, I did get accepted last year to Edinburgh and Durham for European Archaeology. I turned them down because I really wanted to work with bones. I ended up applying to NCSU, Penn State, GWU, and Ohio State. I did try to apply to UPenn, but apparently my payment didn't go through :( Arizona State.. I just couldn't bring myself to apply.
