Having said that, the best way to find universities is to do a literature survey on the field and see where these papers are coming from. This will help you find prominent researcher (or potential advisors) in the field and get you thinking about interesting ideas and directions. An alternative, quicker method is to look at the program committees for workshops/conferences in wearable computing.
