ah233 Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Hello all Anybody knows whn 12th nov. sub GRE scores will be available ?? anybody here appeared the sub GRE on 12th nov ?? any info will be highly appreciated .........
nechalo Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 The website says December 23rd or if you pay extra you can have yours by December 12th: http://www.ets.org/gre/subject/scores/get They may be made available sooner than that though, I think the Oct 15th people had their's a little sooner. you can find out for sure if they're available or not by calling.
twb Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 I took the October test. My score came out online exactly when they said it would, 6 weeks after I took the test. However, score reports were mailed a week before that, so some people got theirs in the mail before they came up online. Otherwise, yes you can call to get it something like 2 weeks early, but I personally didn't feel like giving ETS any more money!
contretemps Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 ETS releases them very early to tempt you into wasting your 12$. But the scores will not appear in the mygre page until the date indicated in nechalo's post. btw, I still haven't received either my general or subject scores in the mail!
ah233 Posted December 4, 2011 Author Posted December 4, 2011 thanks all The website says December 23rd or if you pay extra you can have yours by December 12th: http://www.ets.org/g...ject/scores/get They may be made available sooner than that though, I think the Oct 15th people had their's a little sooner. you can find out for sure if they're available or not by calling. I saw this in GRE webpage ..... Basically I wanted to know , when they will be mailed by ETS .......I guess that might be around 1 week before scores will be available online ......
Gringard Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 My subject GRE's were sent to schools on the 10th, and when I checked my application status they had the scores posted on there since they received them from ETS. Check your apps if you applied anywhere and see if they may have posted them for you
nechalo Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) My subject GRE's were sent to schools on the 10th, and when I checked my application status they had the scores posted on there since they received them from ETS. Check your apps if you applied anywhere and see if they may have posted them for you That is funny, must have been somewhere very close to NJ (where ETS is, I believe). None of my schools even seem to put the scores online from the reports. oh well. I'm thinking I have a good shot at getting mine in the mail tomorrow (I'm in Ohio). I'm expecting/hoping for above 70th percentile which I think would be solid especially because chem wasn't my major (ChemE was). And will help confirm I actually know chem (classwise, I'm only deficient the inorganic sequence anyway) What type of score is everyone hoping for? Is it true that Northwestern's average admit only has a score of 694 (comes out to just above 50th percentile)... or maybe they meant 69.4th percentile?... Edited December 13, 2011 by nechalo

nechalo Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Just an update to what was discussed before: UT Austin received my scores on the 13th and posted them. They only show my score, not the percentile. Kind of a funny loophole to avoid paying ETS for early scores; this was only a day after the phone in date XD.
ah233 Posted December 14, 2011 Author Posted December 14, 2011 Lol ......what poor moneybag ETS is ..... hopefully they will mail at least within next few days ...........
nechalo Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 I called and they said score reports were mailed to us on the 10th; the same time score reports were sent to schools. But I haven't received anything in the mail yet, which might be normal but seems like it's taking a while Is there a list of scaled scores/percentiles for the most recent batch of scaled scores? That way I could self-report my score to the schools that either don't require official scores for the review process or haven't received my official scores. I got an 870 according to the mystatus page of UT Austin's online application.

My percentile for the score that i got from the october test was different than the percentile for that particular score on past tests, so i'm quessing the percentiles change each time....not sure how you would be able to get your percentile until u get your score report or it appears online sorry
Pnictides Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Does anyone here who wishes to improve their Chem GRE score want the 1990 or 1983 exams?
