I applied for bunch of schools for phd in biology and in fact had a skype interview last weekend (georgia tech).... am i supposed to be happy that i got a interview and that certain of admit..... or should i be worried cos being in here in America , they dint consider me for campus interview and just stopped with skype... i really dont know what to take of it and just wanna know what you guys think abt it.. appreciate it... sat Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A lot of departments can't afford to reimburse visitors for interviews, so they go the Skype route by default. If they didn't care about you as much as other candidates, why would they bother?
