coastalvintagechic
I saw on the results survey that somebody got into Columbia's Masters in Journalism? Congrats! I also got the e-mail survey the other day but I haven't received any decision yet--though I submitted my application right on the deadline of Dec. 15th. To the admitted applicant, do you mind if I ask what your stats were?
nikim89
who got in? i looked at the results and it said "other - got an email survey" =/
coastalvintagechic
Nevermind I must have read it wrong because I thought they said they had got in and then also received an e-mail survey, oops! I received the e-mail survey as well, hbu? (Wouldn't that be great if it was an indicator of admission?? One can dream.)
nikim89
Yup, got the survey too. I assume they send it to everyone, boo!
Erewhonful
What's the email survey about? I didn't receive any emails from the AO!!!!!!
coastalvintagechic
Erewhonful, The survey took about 10-15 minutes and basically evaluated whether or not as a student of Columbia you would be interested in a new development of an online track to completing your master's degree. It had a bunch of questions that you had to fill out or rank. It was sent about a week or so ago. You probably got one and may have just missed it
sooperwoman
I haven't received this email at all. A friend of mine has, though. I don't think it was sent to everyone.
Not Just Architects
I wouldn't worry. I don't think I got one from Columbia but I got one this morning from MIT. I don't think it hints at admissions. It's just random selection. Good luck everybody Also any planning and mph Dual degree applicants here?? When will Columbia mailman reply?
nikim89
Who knows..I filled in the survey anyway! I went there for undergrad and it's my dream school - I hope I get in! Admission decisions should be out around the 15th, according to previous years' survey results.
