Freaking out about status change....need some insight

I went to an interview for a counseling psych program on monday. they told me that they would hold a meeting on thursday to go over applicants and make a decision. they said they will notify us by phone no later than end of next week. so my status changed on thursday (became decision mailed). im guessing my status change is so fast because either 1) they absolutely ruled me out and don't want me OR 2) they absolutely love me and know they want me for sure.

am i being logical? or there is no pattern or anything. also if they have the time to change the status and mail the results the day they decided, does it mean they have to time to phone applicants that day too? or no?

do you think it's more likely that i got accepted or that i got rejected?

This process is crazy enough without analyzing every move! Try to relax! I'm the exact same way though so I guess I don't take my own advice.

Take some deep breaths. Check the mail in a day or two. Try to focus on the things around you and get your mind elsewhere for a little bit- and not so much on refreshing the page over and over again on your application. Things will be okay

Just curious what the decision was...but I think it's fairly normal for them to make all the decisions in a day, especially if there aren't a ton of applicants who were interviewed. Did you get in?!?!
