I'm Exhausted

I only applied to one school.

I applied in the middle of January and I'm supposed to hear "by the end of March" ....

I've heard absolutely nothing from the school and this month has been emotionally exhausting....

On top of this, my last semester at school is incredibly stressful...

Anyone else?

Exact same boat. Only applied to one school/program, called early last week and they said I should hear back within the next couple of weeks. I desperately want this, but my hopes are dwindling. The upside is I've been out of school for a while. The downside is I've also been unemployed for a while.

I apply to 4 schools ( one is my undergrad) , so out of the 3 I have one rejection and waitlisted in the 2 school for support. my future seems on a balance right now.

Yeah, applied to 9 schools, nothing definitive yet, so I'm a nervous wreck... I sailed through January and February no problem, but for some reason March has proven to be an emotional slugmatch.

Yeah, the waiting has really worn me down. I guess I put too much stock in the expected time frame for decisions. Now I'm tired and worried, although this week being Spring Break has really helped. I definitely checked everything a lot less frequently.

I think we are nearing the final stretch though! Only one week left of March...

Spring break is only a break from teaching. It's not necessarily a break from other duties for professors, so it's very possible that we'll hear during the break.
