tadams25
As far as briefly discussing research in my SOP, should I be more focused on describing the skills learned or the actual results of my study? So far, I am briefly discussing the process - approval from the IRB, creating informed consent/debriefing forms, conduction of studies, composition of formal manuscripts, presentation of the projects and findings... I am assuming that the admissions committee is more interested in my "ability" to research, as opposed to my findings? What do you think? Thank you =]
ChitownSVL
That is an interesting question. I would not get too bogged down to methods/process type stuff, but instead I would talk about something you learned and also make sure to effectively convey your research interests in a specific way. What programs are you applying to? Good luck!
