golonghorns Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Is this not a reputable program? Did anyone apply to it or heard about someone who has?
firefly85 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I applied to BU's International Communications (IR and Comm school degree) program. I know their Comm school is very good, I'm not as sure about the IR part of it, I'll have to research more if I get in. Haven't heard anything from them yet and it's driving me crazy (ok that and I haven't heard from ANYONE!). I'm assuming it's taking a bit longer because it has to go through two schools. Hopefully it'll come through soon. Good luck.
Tarheel06 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I applied to BU's MAIA program but haven't received a response from them yet. I don't know much about the reputation of the program. (I was looking for 2 year IR programs which didn't require applicants to have a strong econ background and which weren't located in DC.) I do know this is the first time they're offering the MAIA as a two year program. Also, Andrew Bacevich is a professor at BU. (I've seen several of his columns published in the WaPo and the NYT.)
