Submitting Application

This might seem like a silly question but it's something I've been worried about and haven't figured out yet. If my recommendation writers haven't submitted their letters online yet and I submit the entire application, will they still be able to submit their letters (assuming they do so on time of course)? I have reminded my LORs so they are aware that the deadline is coming up but I would like to be done on my part.

You should be fine unless a school's site indicates otherwise.

At one of the schools I'm applying to, the recommendation requests aren't even sent out until the app is submitted.

I applied to two programs where the requests weren't sent until I submitted (read: paid for) my application and the rest my LOR writers have submitted their letters after I submitted the app. You will still be able to login to that portion of the app and make changes and/or send reminders and keep track of who has submitted and who hasn't.

Thank you both for the quick replies! You gave me enough reassurance to submit my first application and now it doesn't seem quite so scary
