musicmage09 Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Anyone started hearing back from an Ivy League? I haven't! The suspense is awful!
Thinker123 Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 I have not either. as does one person i got to know on this forum who equally applied for ivy.
practical cat Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Nope. Past years in my program indicate that it could be another three-four weeks for most of them. They've not traditionally been the first notifiers in my field.
viggosloof28 Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 I only applied to one Ivy League, and haven't heard anything back from 'em. I think - according to past results - Columbia doesn't usually notify for my field (history) until around the middle of February...so I've got a while longer to sit here and sweat it out.
Quigley Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Nothing from mine either. I assumed since the top programs in each field get the most applications, they would take longer to get through the process.
Swagato Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 The three Ivies I applied to have deadlines of Dec. 15th and Jan 2. I don't expect to hear anything until mid-February at the earliest.
mooooh Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I only applied to one ivy and was told that final decisions are made mid to late Feb (at least in my department) and should be able to know my status in a week or two.
kyjin Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I was invited for an interview at Princeton last week, but when I applied for MAs two years ago, Ivies were the last to let me know. I think my Columbia acceptance wasn't till the beginning of March! So you probably have a long wait. :/
lgottlieb Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 (edited) I found out that I was admitted to UPenn two weeks ago. Edited January 23, 2013 by lgottlieb
